Voices from Campus: Exploring Diverse Perspectives of Students and Faculties.

Amidst the nature, in the most beautiful state of India where the surrounding reveals its splendorous serenity.  Located in this beautiful landscape an abode filled with opportunities, growth, and challenges. This place is Medhavi Skills University or often abbreviated as MSU. The campus functions six days a week, despite endless classes for the students. The university often engages the students on various recreational practical classes and programmes. Observing the diversity of its students and the faculties it reminds us of our nation India, which despite differences in ethnicity, language and civilization is united as one diverse multi-ethnic country.

Similarly, our university is growing and glowing with people who come from different states. It has now become a multi-ethnic community who work for the betterment of its students and hence for the society. As a new growing University, it is quite obvious that our readers would want to know the perspective of the students and the faculties. Let’s take a tour around the campus and find out the peoples perspective of MSU.

Oops! Just bumped into one of our faculty, I said, “Good morning ma’am! I have a question for you “Can you please describe MSU from your perspective?”

She replies,

“We are all blown by the fate, through the trials of life and the challenges of growing in an institution called ‘Academics’. Our university is filled with people who have various skills, ideas, commitments, problems, experiences, talents and intentions. Some adapting a profession of a teacher. Others, who have invested half their lives in this profession. It is a place where fresher’s are groomed and experienced, are re-groomed, but all of us have found an abode in a place which provide endless chances and opportunity to the students. This abode where we reside from 9-5.”

After some introspection on what the faculty has said. It is our utmost responsibility to prioritise our student’s point of view as well. As it is often said there’s no correct time for question in life. But sometimes, it is quite the opposite. As it is a short-break for the students and we have the students strolling around the campus. Let us change our lens of inspection and see what the students have to say:

In my perspective MSU is one of the best skill university which is near us and it’s the first in our state also.
I’m glad that I’m here as a foundation batch, and we all are getting ample amount of attention from every faculty.
I feel every faculty is well experienced in their respective field and courses. The teaching techniques is also
different from other universities which make is its main USP.”

I am now walking up the stairs to the reception and I see an advertisement on the screen. The faculty on the screen is definitely one of the person whose perspective could be jotted here. Let us see what he’s got to say,

“In my perspective MSU is one of the best university in Sikkim which promote skill development in each and every course from medical to other courses like BCA and all. The faculty of MSU are so friendly and the classes are so interesting and from those classes practically we learn a lot.”

“In my perspective MSU is going to be one of the best and first skilled university in Sikkim. It give students great opportunity for learning with experience and Groom us with industry ideas.”

To end up, one of the faculty brought forth her perspective where she said, “MSU is for the benefit of the people of Sikkim and especially the aspiring professionals in diverse industries. The highly digitalised classrooms and labs that enhances blended learning to its optimal and highly qualified and recognised teaching faculty from across the country are the USPs of MSU.”

Investment in personal development is the swiftest way to triple success. Medhavi Skills University focusses more on developing minds and making it skilled and hence valued. For every new University to grow it needs to employ people who are hardworking and students who sees the work done for them. It needs a change of lens and a sense of belongingness to strive, grow and develop.
