Mr. Pravesh Dudani

Mr. Pravesh Dudani, Founder and Chancellor of Medhavi Skills University (MSU), Sikkim,
is a visionary leader in the field of higher education and skill development. With an
unwavering commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry, he has
dedicated his life to creating opportunities that enhance employability and empower the
Indian youth. As Managing Director of Medhavi Foundation, the sponsoring body of MSU, he
has played a pivotal role in reshaping the education and skilling landscape in India.
An accomplished alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, qualified with B.Tech and M.Tech in
Electronics & Electrical Communications, along with business education from Stanford
University, Mr. Dudani brings over 16 years of proven expertise in the education and
skilling domains. His entrepreneurial journey began in 2008 with the launch of India’s
first career magazine, CQ (Career Quotient), and he later co-founded iDreamCareer.com
(iDC), which has grown to become India’s largest

career-planning service provider, serving over 50,000 students globally.
In 2012, Mr. Dudani founded the Medhavi Foundation to empower rural and
underprivileged
youth with relevant skills education. He subsequently partnered with NSDC and
various
state skill missions to scale the foundation’s impact. Today, Medhavi Foundation
reaches
over 200,000 beneficiaries annually and facilitates apprenticeship adoption across
300+
organisations nationwide. Mr. Dudani also serves as an Advisor on the board of the
National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), contributing to the advancement of
the
Skill India mission and supporting the alignment of education and skilling
initiatives
with the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Credit Framework
(NCrF).
Driven by his vision for a future-ready education system, Mr. Dudani established
Medhavi
Skills University in 2021 — a pioneering institution focused on industry-aligned,
skill-based higher education. Since its inception, MSU has served over 15,000
students
and brought laurels to Sikkim by winning two medals at the India Skills 2024
competition
— a historic achievement for the state. Under his leadership, MSU is redefining
higher
education through its Work Integrated Skill Based Higher Education (WISE) model, which
embeds
on-the-job training and real-time industry projects into academic programs,
providing
students with invaluable hands-on experience and transforming how education and
skilling
are delivered in India.
Recognised as a thought leader and disruptor in the education sector, Mr. Dudani has
received numerous accolades for his groundbreaking contributions. He was recently
honoured with the National Social Impact Award for Individual Philanthropy by CSR
Universe for his work in the skilling ecosystem and for uplifting rural youth. CNBC

named him one of India’s Top 14 Entrepreneurs, and in 2015, he was recognised among
the
Top 50 Global Change Leaders at Stanford University for Social Entrepreneurship.
Most
recently, Mr. Dudani was acknowledged as one of the Best Education Leaders of 2024
by
Tradeflock and received the India’s Greatest Education Leaders 2023–24 Award from
AsiaOne Magazine in October 2024.

Mr. Kuldip Sarma stands as a beacon of visionary leadership within the realm of higher
education, wielding his dynamic presence as both the Co-Founder & Pro-Chancellor of
Medhavi Skills University. His contribution and leadership mark a transformative era in
educational paradigms. Under his stewardship, the institution has burgeoned, guided by a
steadfast commitment to accessible and purpose-driven education.
As the Co-Founder and Director of Medhavi Foundation, the University’s esteemed parent
organization, Mr. Sarma orchestrates a symphony of progress, extending its reach and

At the helm of Medhavi, Mr. Sarma is a driving force behind national and international
milestones, charting a course towards excellence in education. His unwavering dedication
to academic integrity nurtures the aspirations of young dreamers, equipping them with
the skills and knowledge to navigate an increasingly complex world. As an advisor to the
National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), he contributes to its growth and
partnerships with various state departments and PSUs. He is widely revered as a social
architect, committed to shaping the future of India’s youth through positive
empowerment.
Through Medhavi Aspire, Mr. Sarma creates unique employment pathways for youth across
the country in over 50 disciplines. His groundbreaking vision has led to impactful
partnerships with leading organisations such as HDFC, SBI, Yes Bank, AEGIS, and SIS.
These collaborations reflect his belief in aligning education with real-world
opportunities and industry demand.
In 2024, Mr. Sarma was honoured with the Global Entrepreneurship Award for Social Impact
at the Global Entrepreneurship Festival in Nigeria, recognising his pioneering work in
the education sector. His innovative approaches have empowered countless students and
communities, expanding access to quality learning and inspiring a new generation of
socially conscious learners and educators.
Under Mr. Sarma’s leadership, Medhavi Skills University has also built significant
collaborations with the Indian Defence Forces — including the Indian Army, Indian Air
Force, Indian Navy, Assam Rifles, Sashastra Seema Bal, CRPF, and Indian Coast Guard — in
a powerful testament to his commitment to honouring the heroes of India.
He has further guided the university’s collaborations with major government and industry
entities, including the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation Ltd (RIICO),
the International Automobile Center of Excellence (iACE) — a joint
initiative of the Government of Gujarat and Maruti Suzuki India Limited — and AEQUS,
where he has led the establishment of Centres of Excellence to drive diverse skill
development pathways. His efforts have also brought about international equivalency in
MSU’s pedagogy through strategic partnerships with organisations such as Windmill Lane.
