For example, MSU offers merit awards to students across India, scholarship support for students from the North East, and several initiatives addressing inequities in representation through targeted scholarships.
MSAT 2025: The Intersection of Excellence & Opportunity
At the center of MSU’s scholarship endeavors is the Medhavi Scholarship and Aptitude Test (MSAT 2025), a scholarship examination that is held at the national level to recognize and support academic ability. The exam is specifically developed to assess traditional student aptitude, abstract reasoning, and knowledge in subject areas. MSAT provides a fair opportunity to win up to 100% tuition fee waiver.
Test Details:
There are no penalties for incorrect answers, and you can take the test from home. Again, MSAT 2025 has removed barriers to participation.
If you have a valid test score from a state or national exam, you will also qualify for a written test waiver as a way to make the admissions process inclusive for all applicants. For many students, MSAT 2025 is more than an exam; it is a pathway towards affordable education in India.
Merit-Based Scholarships: Recognizing Academic Excellence.
MSU recognizes cumulative academic excellence through its merit-based scholarships so that hard work and commitment can be acknowledged.
Based on MSAT 2025 Scores:
Out of 100 Marks
90 - 100 Marks = 100% Scholarship
80 - 89 Marks = 75% Scholarship
70 - 79 Marks = 50% Scholarship
60 - 69 Marks = 25% Scholarship
50 - 59 Marks = 10% Scholarship
Based on +2 Marks
Above 90% = 25% Scholarship
75 - 89% = 15% Scholarship
(Minimum 60% in Class 10)

Chancellor's Scholarship: Recognizing Service and Distinction
The Chancellor's Scholarship at Medhavi Skills University (MSU) seeks to identify more than just academic achievement - it rewards leadership, service, and excellence in co-curricular activities.
Students who have attained national-level ranking in competitions or co-curricular activities are eligible for up to a 100% tuition waiver. MSU also recognizes, at the same level, service and service-disabled armed forces members' children:
Children of war widows or war-disabled soldiers → 100% Scholarship
Children of retired and serving soldiers → up to 50% Scholarship.
With these awards, MSU acknowledges the commitment and sacrifice of those who serve the country by providing educational support to their families.
Extended Scholarships: Supporting Community Talent and Inclusion
Medhavi Skills University believes in recognizing local achievers and advancing locally driven education. The Extended Scholarship Program supports school topping all Sikkim's CoI holders, and students under various state government schemes.
