Oct 29, 2025

A Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Program, conducted in alignment with the Indian Nursing Council (INC) syllabus under the Adult Health Nursing – I mandatory module, was successfully organized for the 3rd Semester B.Sc. Nursing students of Medhavi Skills University, Bermoik.

The comprehensive training aimed to equip future nurses with essential life-saving skills and enhance their clinical competence and emergency preparedness. Through a blend of theoretical instruction and hands-on practical sessions, students were trained in critical areas such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), airway management, and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

This interactive and skill-based session provided the participants with a realistic understanding of emergency care, enabling them to act swiftly and confidently in life-threatening situations. By engaging in simulated scenarios, students not only strengthened their technical proficiency but also developed the presence of mind required to make sound clinical decisions under pressure.

The BLS training served as a vital step in preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, compassionate, and timely patient care. Programs like these reinforce Medhavi Skills University’s commitment to integrating practical training with academic excellence, ensuring that its nursing students are well-prepared to save lives and make a difference in real-world healthcare settings.
