We are thrilled to share that we have signed an MoU with the Government of Arunachal Pradesh to establish EDII Medhavi Skills Innovation and Tribal Entrepreneurship University in Arunachal Pradesh, a pioneering initiative to empower tribal communities through innovation and entrepreneurship.
The MoU was signed in the august presence of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Chowna Mein ji during the Rising Northeast Investors Summit 2025.
The Medhavi Group will invest ₹178 crore to establish the Medhavi Skills, Innovation & Tribal Entrepreneurship University at Ziro—creating over 430 direct jobs and fostering a robust ecosystem of skill development and tribal entrepreneurship.
This initiative is set to transform the education landscape in the Northeast by bringing industry-aligned higher education to the doorstep of tribal communities in collaboration with the EDII (Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India). EDII is an institution promoted by the Government of Gujarat with the support of IFCI Ltd, IDBI Ltd, SBI, and ICICI Ltd.
By integrating skill development with academic excellence, the university will nurture local talent, promote self-reliance, and create a robust ecosystem for tribal youth to thrive as job creators and innovators.
