We proudly hosted the 4th Orientation Ceremony – “PRARAMBH” for the incoming Batch of 2025 at Manan Kendra, Gangtok. The event celebrated the dreams and aspirations of our new students and marked the beginning of their transformative journey in the presence of parents, policymakers, industry leaders, and academicians.
The ceremony opened with soulful cultural performances and a showcase of MSU’s inspiring journey, highlighting the University’s rapid growth and its recognition as the 4th-ranked university in the Outlook-ICARE Rankings 2025.
Inspiring addresses set the tone for the day. Our Founder & Chancellor, Mr. Pravesh Dudani, encouraged students to embrace curiosity, resilience, and skills-driven education, while our Co-Founder & Pro-Chancellor, Mr. Kuldip Sarma, urged them to become job creators and contribute to the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
The Chief Guest, Hon’ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Sikkim, Mr. Justice Biswanath Somadder, emphasized education as a foundation for integrity, empathy, responsibility, and nation-building. The Guest of Honour, Mr. Raj Shekhar Joshi, Vice-Chairman of SETU Aayog, Uttarakhand, inspired students to believe in themselves and strive for excellence.
Adding industry perspectives, Mr. Pankaj Mathur, Senior General Manager, Felix Hospital, and Mr. Kalappa KB, CHRO, Chai Point, shared insights on employability, future skills, and the importance of industry-academia collaboration.
“PRARAMBH” was not just a welcome for our new batch—it reaffirmed MSU’s commitment to nurturing innovators, leaders, and socially responsible graduates prepared to thrive in the global knowledge economy.
