About the Event
Medhavi Skills University (MSU) successfully conducted its second convocation ceremony for degree programme graduates in Gangtok, Sikkim. The ceremony celebrated the academic achievements and industry readiness of graduating students, marking the University’s continued progress in advancing skills-based higher education and strengthening industry-aligned learning pathways in India.
The ceremony was graced by Shri Sonam Tshering Venchungpa, Hon’ble MLA, Sikkim Legislative Assembly as the Guest of Honour. Other distinguished dignitaries included Shri A. P. Subba, Chairperson - Lokyukta of Sikkim; Shri Sanjay Kumar, IPS (Retd.), Former Director General, National Disaster Response Force, Government of India, Government of Sikkim; Shri Rinzing Chewang Bhutia, IAS, Secretary, Land Revenue & Disaster Management Department, Sikkim; Shri Jiyau Singh, Commandant - CRPF; Shri Dharma Das Sharma, SGS Deputy Director, Skill Development Department; Col. Arpan Grover, Commanding Officer, 617 EME Battalion and Shri Jai Pratap Singh, Professor of Mathematics, University of Lucknow; along with academic leaders, industry partners, faculty members, and families of the graduates.
