Leadership Development at IIM Shillong
About the Event
As part of the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP) under the Ministry of Education, Nawang Lama, Assistant Professor and HOD, School of Computer Science & Engineering, Medhavi Skills University, participated in the five-day Nurturing Future Leadership Programme held at IIM Shillong from 27 to 31 July 2026.
The programme focused on strengthening leadership capabilities in higher education through self-management, strategic thinking, communication, teamwork, ethical leadership and institutional transformation. Participants also explored creative problem-solving, sustainability and emotional intelligence through experiential learning and reflection.
The programme offered valuable insights into effective academic leadership and enabled participants to develop a personal leadership competency framework, contributing to the development of future-ready leaders in higher education.
