MSU at BW Education India Smart University Conclave 2026

Medhavi Skills University participated in the BW Education India Smart University Conclave and Awards 2026, where Shri Kuldip Sarma, Our Co-Founder and Pro-Chancellor, joined a distinguished panel moderated by Ms. Padmakali Banerjee, Director General, KIIT. The panel featured Mr. Ramakrishnan Raman; Ms. Soni Sharma; Mr. Hemant Verma; Mr. Ravi Thangjam; and Mr. Manoj Choudhary, bringing together diverse perspectives from across India’s higher education ecosystem. The discussion emphasised that India’s higher education future will be shaped by institutions that can sustain, innovate and create real, measurable value in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

It highlighted the urgent and growing need for universities to transition from grant-dependent institutions to self-sustaining knowledge enterprises through outcome-linked funding, stronger industry co-investment and scalable learn-and-earn models. The panel further underscored that when education is closely aligned with industry, students move beyond degrees to become contributors from day one, equipped with practical skills, critical thinking abilities and real-world exposure. This vision strongly aligns with MSU’s commitment to work-integrated learning, where education drives innovation, builds industry-ready skills and directly contributes to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 while also fostering long-term economic growth, employability and meaningful societal impact.
