MSU Students Progress to Regional Round of IndiaSkills 2025
About the Event
Four students from the School of Management & Commerce, Medhavi Skills University (MSU), Sikkim, have qualified for the Track-2 Regional Round of IndiaSkills 2025 in Retail Sales, one of India’s largest national skill competitions aligned with WorldSkills standards.
The qualifiers, Muskan Kumari and Puskar Rai (BBA, 3rd Semester), Rohit Tamang (BBA, 1st Semester), and Sneha Gupta (BBA, 5th Semester) emerged after a competitive multi-stage selection process. The Track-1 online screening, held on 27 November 2025, saw participation from 25 MSU students, with 14 advancing to Track-2.
The Track-2 Regional Round was conducted on 23 December 2025 at CMI Learning & Development, Kolkata. Participants were assessed on practical retail competencies such as customer handling, product selling, complaint management, billing and visual merchandising through role-play exercises and a block display task.
