Strengthening Financial Expertise Through NISM' s Five-Day Faculty Development Programme
About the Event
The School of Management & Commerce at Medhavi Skills University participated in a five-day Faculty Development Programme on "Securities Analysis and Valuation: Fundamental, Technical Approaches and Research Report Writing", organised by the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) under the capacity-building and financial education initiatives of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). Held from 29 June to 3 July 2026 at the NISM Campus in Patalganga and the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Mumbai, the programme brought together expert-led sessions, practical case studies, simulation-based learning and industry exposure to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of investment analysis and financial markets.
Covering areas such as fundamental and technical analysis, equity valuation, financial modelling, portfolio management and research report writing, the programme blended academic concepts with practical applications to strengthen participants' analytical and decision-making skills. The experience equipped them with industry-relevant knowledge and practical insights that will further enrich teaching, research and professional practice in the field of securities markets and financial analysis.
