Visit to V-Guard Industries
About the Event
The School of Management & Commerce at Medhavi Skills University organised an insightful industry visit to V-Guard Industries Ltd., providing students with valuable real-world exposure to industrial operations and management practices. A total of 27 students from B.Com, BBA, BA in Office Administration & Technology, and MBA programmes, accompanied by faculty members, participated in the visit.
During the visit, students gained practical insights into key organisational functions including production, human resources, and finance. An informative session on labour laws relevant to Sikkim further enhanced the learning experience, particularly for students specialising in HR and Finance, helping them understand the practical implications of workplace regulations and compliance.
Through interactive sessions and meaningful engagement with professionals across different levels of management, students developed a deeper understanding of industrial operations and organisational processes. The experience also helped strengthen their managerial, analytical, and communication skills while offering firsthand exposure to professional work environments.
