Medhavi Skills University (MSU) actively participated in the North Eastern and Eastern Zone Vice-Chancellors Conference on NEP 2020 in Guwahati.Led by NEP Coordinator Mr. Prakash Chettri, the MSU team engaged with key stakeholders, including UGC Chairman Prof. Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, to discuss NEP 2020’s implementation and innovations in education.The conference provided a platform to exchange insights, foster collaborations, and contribute to reshaping India’s higher education system.MSU remains dedicated to promoting skill-based learning, supporting NEP 2020’s vision, and preparing a future-ready workforce through industry-aligned education and transformative academic initiatives.

They witnessed how Coca-Cola connects with audiences beyond its products, shaping a powerful global identity.From understanding large-scale manufacturing to experiencing the brand’s cultural impact, the visit offered a deeper perspective on business excellence and market influence.Immersed in the world of one of the biggest global brands, our students gained first hand exposure to real-world corporate dynamics and strategic branding.

Students from the university's Music Skill Drill program embarked on a transformative field trip to Temi Tea Estate, blending cultural immersion with creative exploration. They engaged with local communities, captured ambient sounds, and performed amidst the serene landscapes, infusing their compositions with authenticity.  The experience allowed them to explore the synergy between music and nature, enriching their artistic expression with real-world inspiration.  By interacting with the local environment and its people, they deepened their understanding of cultural narratives and honed their skills in field recording, composition, and live performance, making the journey both educational and creatively fulfilling.

The competition fostered a spirit of healthy debate, encouraging students to explore diverse perspectives and develop a deeper understanding of educational reforms.Their confident delivery and logical reasoning highlighted their ability to articulate ideas effectively. The School of Management and Commerce emerged as the winner, while Team 1 from the School of Health Care secured second place.The event was a celebration of collaboration, creativity, and friendly competition, fostering an engaging learning experience. With vibrant energy and competitive spirit, participants demonstrated their skills in a dynamic setting.Trivia Triumph highlighted the power of teamwork and strategic thinking, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.

We celebrated a momentous occasion at Rangpo, Sikkim, as we welcomed back our brilliant champions, Radhika Chettri and Krishna Kumari Mukhia Sunwar, who brought home Silver and Bronze medals from the India Skills Competition.MSU became the youngest university to secure medals at the competition. Additionally, it was the first time Sikkim participated and bagged medals at the national competition.The celebration began with a warm welcome from MSU staff and students, followed by an emotional felicitation ceremony. Proud family members and the University Management honored Radhika and Krishna for their exceptional achievements.Mr. Rishi Thapa, Assistant Registrar at MSU, emphasized the significance of the event for both the youth and the University, highlighting how their triumphs set a shining example for others.Mr. Bharat Bhushan, Assistant Dean, provided valuable insights into the rigorous selection process of the competition, giving everyone an understanding of the hard work that led to their success.During the event, the medalists shared their inspiring journeys, expressing gratitude to MSU for its unwavering support and guidance. A lively media interaction followed, showcasing the pride of the entire community.The celebrations concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony organized by the Hospitality & Hotel Management department, followed by tea and snacks, creating a festive atmosphere. This event was a proud moment for Sikkim, as we celebrated the incredible accomplishments of Radhika and Krishna.
