The initiative was designed to provide young learners with an immersive experience of skill-based education and career-oriented learning opportunities. The visit commenced with an engaging orientation session conducted by Mr. M. Jamal, Assistant Dean, School of Management and Commerce, who highlighted MSU’s vision of bridging education with industry. This was followed by a guided campus tour, where students explored key academic schools including the School of Management and Commerce, Computer Science and Engineering, the School of Health Science and Technology, and the School of Hospitality and Tourism. During the tour, the students actively participated in interactive sessions within departmental labs and observed real-world demonstrations of practical skills. These hands-on experiences offered them valuable insights into how MSU integrates theoretical learning with industry-relevant practice, equipping learners to meet future employability demands. The day concluded with a felicitation ceremony, where the students were warmly acknowledged for their participation. The tour not only inspired the students but also reinforced MSU’s commitment to nurturing talent through experiential learning and holistic development.

Medhavi Skills University (MSU) recently had the opportunity to engage with the young learners of PM Shri Ralap School, Singtam, through an insightful guest lecture held on September 10, 2025. The session was delivered by Mr. Debasrita Banerjee, Assistant Professor, Department of Basic Nutrition and Dietetics, on the theme “Food Preservation & Processing Techniques at Home Scale. ”Targeted at Class 10 students, the lecture introduced practical and easy-to-implement methods of food preservation such as refrigeration, drying, pickling, and fermentation. By blending scientific principles with everyday practices, the session empowered students to understand the importance of food safety, sustainability, and waste reduction.The highly interactive nature of the lecture encouraged active participation, with students showing keen interest in exploring how traditional and modern preservation techniques can be applied at home. The discussions not only enhanced their subject knowledge but also inspired them to adopt healthier and more sustainable food habits in their daily lives.MSU extends sincere gratitude to PM Shri Ralap School for their warm welcome and collaboration. The celebration beautifully brought alive the values of community, culture, and unity, reminding us of the importance of inclusivity and diversity in our university family. A special note of appreciation goes to the students of the School of Hospitality & Tourism and their dedicated faculty members, who meticulously planned and organized the event.
