In 2025, the English Department of Medhavi Skills University (MSU) hosted an interactive soft-skill session where students engaged with administrative staff on a podcast session exploring "Cultural Assimilation at MSU and the Perspective of Different Employees from Various States of India." This activity provided students a glimpse into real-world corporate dynamics, helping them understand the importance of adaptability and cultural diversity in the workplace. The session not only equipped them for future careers but also broadened their mindset, preparing them to thrive in diverse work environments across India.

Medhavi Skills University (MSU) hosted an engaging expert session on “Banquet Planning: From Inquiry to Execution,” led by Mr. Santosh Kumar NV, F&B Operations Manager at Hotel Raj Residency, Kollam. The talk provided Hospitality & Tourism Management students with an in-depth look into the operational intricacies of banquet services-from client inquiry to flawless execution. Through real-world examples and practical insights, Mr. Kumar highlighted the importance of planning, coordination, and service excellence, offering students a valuable industry perspective that bridges classroom learning with real-world application.

We are proud to share a remarkable achievement from the School of Health Sciences and Technology at Medhavi Skills University. Six third-year students from the Department of Optometry, under the mentorship of Mr. Anindya and myself, have successfully authored and published a scientific research paper in a reputed journal. This accomplishment reflects not only the students’ dedication and academic rigor but also MSU’s commitment to fostering research-oriented, hands-on learning experiences in the healthcare domain. Through continuous guidance, practical exposure, and an industry-aligned curriculum, our optometry students have demonstrated what future-ready professionals can achieve when given the right platform. The School of Management & Commerce at Medhavi Skills University successfully organized the Job Ready Mock Interview and Aptitude Skills Builder event on 25th April, 2025. With active participation from 20 students of BBA 2nd Semester and BA/BCom 6th Semester, the event included an aptitude test, group discussions, and mock interviews offering a comprehensive job readiness experience. A heartfelt thanks to Asst. Dean Md Jamal Sir and the dedicated faculty team for their unwavering support.
