We have become the first private university in India to embed Board of Apprenticeship Training – Western Region (BoAT-WR), Mumbai, Ministry of Education, Government of India approved apprenticeships across all our undergraduate degree and diploma programmes. The MoU was exchanged in the august presence of Mr. N. N. Wadode, Deputy Director of Training, (BoAT-WR), Mr. Pravesh Dudani, Founder & Chancellor, MSU and Mr. Kuldip Sarma, Co-Founder & Pro-Chancellor, MSU. The agreement integrates MSU’s final-year industrial training into a paid, government-recognised apprenticeship, enabling students in engineering, hospitality, digital services, and emerging fields to earn stipends, gain industry experience, and receive university credits uploaded to the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC). By aligning NATS with its industry-led curriculum, MSU advances NEP 2020’s vision of blending vocational and academic learning, creating direct career pathways for the learners. This MoU marks a step forward in making higher education more meaningful, practical, and inclusive for India’s youth strengthening the foundation of Viksit Bharat.

A proud moment for Medhavi Skills University! We have partnered with Barbeque Nation to launch a first-of-its-kind, industry-integrated hospitality education program. Set against the backdrop of India’s thriving restaurant industry, valued at approximately $85.19 billion in 2025 and projected to grow at a CAGR of 11.19% to reach $79.65 billion by 2028, this initiative is designed to align education with dynamic sectoral needs. Through UGC-recognized B.Voc and D.Voc programs, learners are receiving structured academic instruction from MSU alongside immersive, on-the-job training at Barbeque Nation outlets, truly enabling them to earn while they learn. The program has already onboarded its first 300 student-trainees across Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad, with a target of scaling to 2,000 learners within three months. This partnership opens up avenues for current Barbeque Nation employees to upskill and earn formal academic credentials while continuing in their roles. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in bridging the gap between education and employability in one of India’s fastest-growing sectors.

MSU has been formally recognized as an AWARDING BODY by NCVET (National Council for Vocational Education & Training), a regulatory body established by the Government of India for overseeing the quality of skill education and training in India. As a distinguished proponent of NEP (National Education Policy), 2020; MSU is now formally authorized to offer NSQF (National Skills Qualification Framework) aligned standalone or embedded skill development higher education programs with an officially recognized grading system powered by NCrF (National Credit Framework).
