As the day progressed, the campus came alive with energy and excitement as multiple sporting events unfolded across the grounds. Students participated with zeal in thrilling tug of war contests, fast-paced badminton matches, and high-spirited volleyball games, creating an atmosphere filled with cheers, camaraderie, and competitive enthusiasm. Medhavi Skills University is proud to announce the formalisation of a strategic Progression Partnership with the SQA – Scottish Qualifications Authority, Scotland’s national awarding and qualifications body. The agreement was signed in the presence of the visiting SQA delegation- Ms Margaret Curran, Mr Mark Hill, Ms Alyson Burns and Mr George Kolath (K John)- and graced by Prof (Dr.) Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi IAS (retd) (Former Chairman, NCVET), one of the key architects of India’s national credit frameworks. This partnership marks a significant leap in advancing the internationalisation of Indian higher education under NEP 2020. Together, MSU and SQA will create globally aligned, skill-integrated learning pathways that allow students to pursue work-integrated, credit-bearing programmes in India with clear academic progression routes to universities worldwide. The event was graced by Mr. Ramesh Dahal, Chairperson of the Sikkim State Allied and Healthcare Professional Council, as the Chief Guest. His presence added immense value to the occasion as he shared powerful insights into the indispensable role of radiographers, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. His inspiring address, coupled with a personal experience, highlighted the life-saving impact of timely and accurate diagnostic imaging, leaving a lasting impression on students and faculty alike. The celebration was further enriched by the esteemed presence of Mr. Pravesh Dudani, Chancellor, along with the Pro-Vice Chancellors (Academics and Administration), members of the Registrar team, and faculty members, who collectively encouraged students to uphold excellence and ethical responsibility in their professional journeys. The event featured a series of engaging performances and reflections. Students delivered powerful speeches that revisited the significance of our constitutional rights and duties, encouraging everyone to uphold the principles that shape our nation. A melodious song performance filled the atmosphere with emotion and unity, while a graceful classical dance showcased the richness of India’s cultural heritage and the diversity that binds the country together. One of the most meaningful highlights of the celebration was the collective reading of the Preamble. As voices rose in unison, the campus resonated with a renewed commitment to justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity—the guiding pillars on which the nation stands. Events like these play a crucial role in shaping socially conscious individuals.
